Vacation by the River
You will find our two campsites in the middle of the green “Ourtal”.
We are the second generation to dedicate ourselves entirely to camping and relaxation here in the most famous hiking area of the German-Luxembourgish Nature Park, close to ‘Luxembourg’s Switzerland’ (‘La Petite Suisse’). Enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Eifel.
There’s So Much to Discover
The surrounding area offers plenty of excitement:
On the Luxembourg side, you can explore the medieval town of Vianden with its castle and picturesque alleys, Echternach, the oldest city in Luxembourg and gateway to the “Little Luxembourgish Switzerland,” and the capital city, Luxembourg. These places are easy to reach with free public transport throughout the country.
On the German side, highlights include the ancient Roman city of Trier, Germany’s oldest city, and a true gem, the Dinosaur Park Teufelsschlucht in Ernzen—a fantastic experience for children. Don’t miss the unique volcanic maars of the Eifel, and for wine lovers, a trip to the Moselle region is a must… and so much more!

Our two campsites, located just 5 kilometers apart, offer the full range of options!
In our cosy restaurant at the Ourtal-idyll campsite we serve cold drinks in bottles, small dishes and ice cream as well breakfast upon request. You can also sample liqueurs and spirits from our own distillery or simply relax on the terrace and let your mind wander.
